Here are the Results for last nights show in Algona, 5/30/09. The show was for Relay for Life and all money earned at that show went to the cause.

Announcer: Johny Fitness
Results by: Davegoheel

Nicky Free d. Marshal Scott (Diving Elbow Drop)
A very nice way to start off the night. After a whole lot of chain wrestling, Marshal finally got the advantage and worked over the arm of Nicky for much of the match. Free, however, was able to pull through and give Nicky some stiff blows in returns, finishing it all of with a Diving Elbow Drop.

Sparrow d. Anthony Draven (Modified Neckbreaker)
The match, overall, was great. I noticed that when Sparrow hit his first Hurricanrana of the night, jaws were dropping in the crowd. Draven does a great job at being a hate-able heel. I was extremely impressed with the energy that Sparrow was emanating to the crowd.

Flav & Ian "Beef" Wellington d. Big Country and Ugly for a shot at the Tag Team Titles (Illegal Low Blow)
To start things off, I loved the headbutt to the microphone. Flav and Ian are a great combination because they both come off as so bombastic and pretentious that you just can't help but hate them. Big Country has also improved a lot since the first time I saw him. I thought that, overall, it was a match that was strung together very nicely. I'm sure if Billy J would've been there, that low blow would've never have happened ;) ;)

Supa Cito Kid d. Big Picture (Code Red)
Personally, my candidate for Match of the Night, excluding the Battle Royal. Cito went overall really well with the crowd and Big Picture was one of the most hated men of the night. Cito was able to bounce back from Big Pictures's Finisher - The Kodak Moment (Flatliner, Complete Shot) - to hit his "video game perfect" Code Red (Yoshi Tonic, Flipping Powerbomb)

Hardcore Match - Project Matthew d. Jayson Kinkade (Power Chord?)
Jayson has impressed me so much. I don't know if he was being influenced by the fans or if he just drank three gallons of Monster, but the energy that he was giving was exploding. Project Matthew is, in my opinion, one of IPW's best technical wrestlers and a guy that I hope is still around when I get to the wrestling point. Project Matthew finished of the night when Kinkade attempted a Crossbody off the top rope. Matthew caught him on his shoulders and through him onto the top rope for the Power Chord (Rope Assisted Neckbreaker, Siakolypse).

Main Event - Battle Royal - Winner: Johny Fitness
Previous to the Battle Royal, Matthew was talking smack about wanting a piece of the big man. Finally, Fitness was pissed off enough to show him a thing or two. The final four were Flav, Kinkade, Fitness, and Matthew. Flav was eliminated, followed by Kinkade. It came down to the two. Fitness was barely hanging on while on the ring apron when Matthew attempted a Flying Forearm to finish it off. However, the Fit Man was able to get the rope down and PM went sailing over it. A great way to end off the night and the crowd (especially the second row closest to the bathroom) was loving it.

Overall, I thought it was a really good show and it was for a great cause.
